Robert "Bob" Binggeli, 94, died Sunday, Sept. 28, 2014, at Briarwood Health Care Center in Iowa City. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 1, at Henderson-Barker Funeral Home in West Liberty.
Visitation will be Tuesday, Sept. 30, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Overman Cemetery, Atalissa.
Memorials may be made to the East Central Iowa Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association.

Walter Robert Binggeli was born May 27, 1920, in Muscatine, Iowa, the son of Fred and Anna Sabbath Binggeli. He was united in marriage to Elma Oepping on May 27, 1944, in Davenport. In 1946, they moved to Sharon Center, where they raised four children. Bob farmed for many years and drove the first semi for Eldon Stutsman. He was the seventh person hired at the Iowa City Procter and Gamble Plant when it opened in 1956. Following Bob's retirement in 1981, he and Elma moved to Hills to make their home. They spent 13 winters in Texas.
He was a member of the Sharon Center United Methodist Church, E-Z Wheelers RV Club, a 4-H leader, board member of Johnson County Fairgrounds and Sharon Center Masonic Lodge. He enjoyed playing cards with the 39er's and Sharon Card Club.
Survivors include two daughters, Donna Williams-Utsler and special friend Rainer Nitsche of Hills and Linda (Steve) Manary of North Liberty; two sons, Al "Bear" Binggeli and Cheryl Campion of Iowa City and Fred Binggeli of Tiffin; seven grandchildren; 16 great- grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren. He also is survived by a special friend, Mabel Lenz of Washington.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Elma; two sons-in-law, Howard Williams and Roger Utsler; and three great-granddaughters.
