Patricia Jeanne Williams, 83, of Cedar Rapids, passed away Thursday, April 21, 2016, at Mercy Medical Center, Cedar Rapids. Services: 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 27, at Immanuel Baptist Church, Cedar Rapids. Visitation: 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 26, at the church. Burial: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery, Cedar Rapids. Arrangements made by Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include her husband, Ormal; children, Judy (Dennis) Bachman of Tucson, Ariz., Cindy (Justin) LaPeer of Houston, Texas, Mike Williams of Cedar Rapids, Ron (Alice) Williams of Des Moines, Kim (Simpson) Nguyen of Des Moines, Huong (Hai) Nguyen of Houston, Hieu (Gam) Nguyen of Des Moines, Kristen Smith of Cedar Rapids, Diem Nguyen of Houston, Da (Phung) Nguyen of Joplin, Mo., and Van Pham of California; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Also surviving are sisters, Sharon Wells and Frances Shenenberger; and sisters in-law, Carol Shenenberger and Elsie Hamilton.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and one brother.
Patricia was born Oct. 13, 1932, in Fairfax, Iowa, daughter of Emmett and Arlene Shenenberger. She graduated from Franklin High School in Cedar Rapids. Patricia and Ormal were united in marriage on May 11, 1952. She was school secretary for Monroe Elementary.
