Terry D. Houser, 77, of Beeville, Texas, and Marion, Iowa, died Wednesday, Dec. 20, 2017, at Christus Spohn Hospital in Beeville, Texas. Brosh Chapel and The Avacentre in Cedar Rapids is caring for Terry and his family.
Terry was born on Aug. 11, 1940, in Park Rapids, Minn., the son of Paul Milton and Irene Gertrude (Hammerich) Houser. He married Nancy J. Curttright on Nov. 4, 1961, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He worked in sales at Work-Space-Solutions and was CEO; since his retirement the company has been run by his son, Terry D. Houser Jr. He was an elder at Pioneer Ave. Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses, as well as in Beeville, Texas.
Terry is survived by his wife, Nancy; children, Terry Houser Jr. and wife, Kathy, and daughter, Cyndi Houser; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Terry was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Milton P. Houser.
