Elizabeth Ann "Betty" Sauer died Oct. 9, 2014, after putting up the good fight against insur-mountable odds. She was born Jan. 6, 1938, in Chicago to Joseph and Dorothy (Davis) Walztoni.
She is survived by her husband of almost 59 years, Keith Sauer of Inverness, Fla.; sons, Michael (Sue), Russell (Donna) and Jerald (Melissa); daughters, Connie Chartier, Susan and Sandra (Marty) Turner; nine grand-children and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Yvonne O'Brian; and brother, Frank Walztoni.
Memorial services were Oct. 13 at Redemption Christian Church in Inverness. Interment will be at a later date.
