Lisa M. Kelchen, 58, of Marion, formerly of Manchester, Iowa, passed away Friday, Dec. 11, 2020, at St. Luke's Hospital in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Dec. 18, at Kramer Funeral Home in Dyersville, Iowa, with burial in St. Mary's Cemetery in Manchester. The. Rev. Tyler Raymond will officiate.
Lisa was born Feb. 28, 1962, in Manchester, Iowa, the daughter of Ernest and Irma (Maiers) Kelchen. She grew up on a farm near Dundee, Iowa. Lisa graduated from Hamilton Business College and went on to work for UnityPoint Health for many years. She enjoyed crocheting or making anything to keep her busy. She loved music and nights of dancing with friends. She loved her Saturdays with her grandsons having lunch or just hanging out.
Survivors include her children, Clint (Jenny Lee) Rankin, Jill Rankin and Jerod Rankin; grandchildren, Devin VanZee, Cole Collingwood, Marcus Rankin and Jacob Rankin; siblings, Larry Kelchen of Strawberry Point, Steve (Mary) Kelchen of Anamosa, Deb (John) Leonard of Ryan and Kathy (Daniel) Schmidt of Dyersville; in-laws, Jan Kelchen of Cedar Falls; and her former husband and dear friend, Kevin Rankin.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her step-mother, Marianna; and her brother, Randy Kelchen.
The family would like to thank the staff and Hospice Center at St. Luke's Hospital.
