Allan Dwayne Cisler, 92, passed away Jan. 19, 2017, at Clarissa Cook Hospice House.
Allan was born in July in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, to Wesley and Fannie. After high school, he served in the U.S. Army. Once he completed his service to our country, he attended and graduated from the University of Iowa. In March 1955, he married the love of his life, Maxine Stevenson. For a career choice, he worked for Transamerica Insurance for over 30 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, five sisters and three brothers.
He is survived by his wife, and many loving nieces and nephews.
Services for Allan will be on Tuesday, Jan. 24. The visitation will start at 10 a.m. at Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories, Cedar Rapids. The funeral service will begin at 11 a.m., also at the chapel, with burial immediately afterward.
