Iowa's Kirk Ferentz on Big Ten Teleconference

Iowa Coach Kirk Ferentz said today the offense is not cohesive at this point and turnovers are a major problem on the Big Ten Coaches Teleconference.

"I think a lot of our challenges are explainable," he said. "Hopefully we're getting closer to getting settled in."

Ferentz also said tight end Tony Moeaki is one of the better players in the country after catching 17 passes in three games.

"He draws an awful lot of attention," Ferentz said.

Ferentz said middle linebacker Pat Angerer is the "heart and soul" of the defense.
