From a citizen, member of the human race
Bill Barron

As a citizen I believe:
' I should be subject to any tax regulations of a country from which I receive benefit.
' I should be subject to the laws of any country to which I travel.
As a member of the human race I believe:
' I should be able to travel and move freely on the planet that the human race inhabits.
' My existence as a member of the human race takes precedence over my citizenship of any one country.
As a reminder to all of our common history I say almost everyone on the planet is an immigrant or a descendant of immigrants.
