Brian T. Howell, 58, passed away Saturday, Dec. 12, 2020, at his home in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
Brian was born June 3, 1962, to the late Bunyan and Patricia (Rozinek) Howell in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He graduated from Prairie High School in 1980. Brian was self-employed and had his own business for 25 years, installing carpet and custom tile. During his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, and watching any and all football, especially the Iowa Hawkeyes. He enjoyed anything outdoors even if it was considered work, like cutting firewood, and he loved riding his motorcycle.
His surviving family includes his children, Samantha (Blake) Howell-Ryals, Tyler Howell and Madison Howell; his three grandchildren, Elison Ryals, Raylan Ryals and Hudson Smith; sister, Lisa (Tim) Hinricher; nephew, Zachary Hinricher; and nieces, Rebecca Hinricher and Bailey Hinricher.
Brian was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date due to COVID-19. In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to the family.
