Jeter - Uker

BETTENDORF, IA - Alyssa Jeter and Benjamin Uker, both of Bettendorf, IA, are pleased to announce their engagement.

Alyssa is the daughter of David and Pati Jeter of Iowa City, IA. Ben is the son of Dan and Annette Uker of Osage, IA.

Alyssa graduated from Iowa City High School, and obtained a Bachelor of Nursing degree from the University of Iowa College of Nursing. She currently is pursuing her Masters degree to become an Advanced Registered nurse Practitioner. She is employed at the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics, in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit in Iowa City.

Ben graduated from Osage High School, and the University of Iowa with a Bachelor's degree in elementary education. Ben wrestled for the Hawks and currently is the Assistant Wrestling Coach at Davenport Assumption High School. He is also employed as a mortgage consultant with Wells Fargo in Davenport, IA.

The couple will be married November 14, 2009, at Olde St. Ann's Church in Long Grove, IA.
