The Gazette
Jun. 26, 2016 8:21 am
With a career that spanned more than six decades and all levels of sports, Bob Brooks made an impression on countless Iowa athletes, media and fans.
After his death at the age of 89 Saturday, the depth of that impact could be felt on Twitter, where tributes and stories were told by hundreds.
This is far from a complete list, and there will be many more stories to come, but here is a collection of a few University of Iowa and Cedar Rapids sports figures and media who took time to remember Brooksie.
