Accident kills one person near Millville
MILLVILLE - One person is dead after an accident in northeast Iowa. It happened on Highway 52 South of Millville just before six Sunday morning.
The Iowa State Patrol says Lee Zuercher, 41, of Holy Cross was not wearing his seatbelt when an oncoming car crossed the center line and hit his pick-up truck head-on. Zuercher was killed in the crash.
His passenger, Coedy Zuercher, 18, was taken to the hospital.
The driver of the other car, Sarah Austin, 21, of Luana was airlifted to the University of Iowa Hospital.
