Julianne McMann, 79, of Martelle, died Wednesday, Feb. 24, 2021, at UnityPoint-St. Luke's Hospital in Cedar Rapids.

Julianne Brady was born Nov. 17, 1941, in Anamosa, the daughter of Arlo and Irene (Rodman) Brady. She grew up on the family farms near Center Junction and later Onslow and attended school in both Center Junction and Onslow. On July 25, 1959, she married Lowell McMann at the Lisbon Presbyterian Church in Lisbon. He died in 2005.
She was employed at Collins Radio in Anamosa, leaving later to raise her family. She was an avid reader and seamstress, and liked gardening, baking and making Christmas candy. She enjoyed cats, especially Callie.
She is survived by her children, Chris (Cheryl) McMann, Wyoming, Kelly (Angie) Dennis-McMann, Cedar Rapids, Troy (Kit) McMann, Martelle, and Erin McMann, Martelle; grandchildren, Sean (Kari) McMann, Clarence, and Darcy McMann, North Liberty; her siblings, Ransom Brady, Center Junction, and Cindy (Jody) Ruley, Anamosa; a sister-in-law, Clara McMann, Kahoka, Mo., a brother-in-law, Darrell (Pearl) McMann, Kirksville, Mo.; as well as several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and brothers-in-law, Lavern and Billie McMann.
