Mary Agnes Richardson, 92, of Cedar Rapids died at her home Thursday, April 27, 2017. Services: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Patrick Catholic Church, by the Rev. Ivan Nienhaus. Burial: St. John Cemetery. A rosary will be recited at 9:15 a.m. Tuesday at St. Patrick Church, where friends may visit with the family Tuesday after 9:30 a.m. Teahen Funeral Home is serving the family.
Mary is survived by her son, Steven of Cedar Rapids; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Francis; two brothers, Joseph "Buster" (D. Muriel Sundberg) and James D. (Elizabeth Pavek) Jr.; and three sisters, Anna (Jack) Horan, Helen (Fred "Fritz:") Klappholz and Margaret (Leo) Procok.
Mary was born Oct. 26, 1924, in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of James and Wilma Baum Byrnes Sr. She married Francis Richardson on Jan. 24, 1948, in Cedar Rapids. He died in 1994. She graduated from Wilson High School and was a former employee of Quaker Oats.
Instead of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.
