Travis Patrick Joyce, 26, of Marion, Iowa, passed away on Monday, Feb. 15, 2021. The family will greet friends from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 21, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Marion. A Memorial service will follow at 5 p.m. at the funeral home conducted by Pastor Brody Tubaugh. Inurnment will take place at Oak Hill Cemetery in Cedar Rapids at a later date. All guests are respectfully requested to wear a face mask and practice social distancing.

Travis was born on Nov. 6, 1994, in Dubuque, Iowa, the son of Randy and Judith (Patrick) Joyce. He graduated from Marion High School in 2013 and was an apprentice through Climate Engineering to become a journeyman. Travis was a member of the Mac Gym. He was very outgoing and always the life of the party with his contagious smile. His daughter, Bentley, was his pride and joy. Travis also enjoyed motorcycles, trucks and family get-togethers. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived and lovingly remembered by his parents, Randy and Judi Joyce of Marion; daughter, Bentley Elizabeth Joyce of Marion; brothers, Jacob (Lauren) Joyce of Houston, Texas, and Tristen Joyce of Marion; nieces and nephew, Emmalin, Anna-Lee, Tatum; grandparents, Wayne and Diana Patrick of Toddville, Iowa; aunts and uncles, Jennifer (Rick) Olson of Kansas, Rocky Joyce of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Peggy Sue Tempfur of Kentucky, Lavona Bazal of Vining, Iowa, and Marilyn Tiegen, of Georgia; and many cousins.

Travis was preceded in death by his grandparents, Albert and Martha Joyce; and great-grandparents, Phyllis and Elmer Patrick.
