Ramon "Ray" Hernandez, 79, of Cedar Rapids, died Wednesday, Aug. 6, 2014, at Mercy Med-ical Center, Cedar Rapids. Funeral Mass: 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 9, at St. Matthew Catholic Church, Cedar Rapids, by the Rev. David Beckman. Visitation will be one hour before the Mass at the church. Burial, with military honors: Mount Calvary Cemetery, Cedar Rapids. Arrangements are by Stewart Baxter Funeral & Memorial Services, Cedar Rapids.
