Henry Joseph "Joe" Schaier Jr., 63, died Thursday, March 19, 2015. Memorial services: 10:30 a.m. Monday, March 23, at St. John's Lutheran Church, Marengo. Inurnment: Marengo Cemetery, with military honors. Visitation: 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday, March 22, at Kloster Funeral Home, Marengo.
Memorials may be contributed to the Wounded Warrior Project in his name.
Joe is survived by his wife, Krystal; and his sons, Nicholas and wife Katie of Iowa City and Christopher and wife Anne Willey of Albuquerque, N.M.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Mildred Riedel Schaier.
