Some environmentalists can be misguided

We spend countless millions of dollars for fuel and machinery to give potential fuel a proper burial in landfills. Misinformed people, however well intended they may be, can stop our country from evolving into an energy independent nation.
Definition of a misguided Greenie:
Wants oil wells as long as they are drilled on foreign soil and the profit goes to people who do not have our best interests in mind.
Wants to keep our 100 Iowa electric dams from producing electricity in order to protect the fish, although the best fishing is either above or below the dam, depending on the season.
Sits at a wooden table, on wooden chairs, in a house made from wood and states you shouldn't cut trees. Yet trees are a renewable resource.
Makes up stories about windmills harming birds, then gets on a fuel-guzzling airplane and flies to some vacation destination. All the while, the windmill is truly helping us to become free from fossil fuels.
We know how to turn the landfills into fueling stations. We have designed, built and for over four years operated a furnace that various combustible material can be burned in at the necessary heat to control pollution. It's not a question of how this can be done. It's a question of who will cooperate with us.
Landfills should never have been government-operated. Private operation would use this so-called waste.
