SHARON, ALEXIS AND JADE TAYLOR

Sharon, 75, Alexis, 18, and Jade, 11, all of Oxford Junction, passed away Sept. 6, 2015.
Their funeral service will be 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 11, at the American Legion in Oxford Junction, where visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 10. Burial will be at a later date. Lahey Funeral Home in Oxford Junction is assisting the family.
Sharon Joy Jackson was born Jan. 6, 1940, in Ottumwa, Iowa, to Vernon and Edna (Jernburg) Jackson. She graduated from Phoenix Union High School in Arizona. On Sept. 23, 1967, she was united in marriage to the love of her life, Tot Taylor, at Assembly of God Church in Iowa City. She worked for Collins Radio and also the DOT office in Cedar Rapids. Sharon was a homemaker, who kept her house and family in order.
She was a member of First Assembly of God Church in Oxford Junction. She enjoyed looking up new recipes on the computer, crocheting, cooking and sewing.
She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them.
Those left to cherish her memories are her husband; a daughter, Stephanie Hall of Cedar Rapids; a son, Nic (Jennifer) Taylor of Atkins; two grandchildren, Dominic and Shayla Taylor; one great-grandchild; two sisters, Janice (George) Mullen of North Carolina and Pauline (Virgil) Griffis of Mount Pleasant; and a brother, Paul (Angela) Jackson of Council Bluffs.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Scott; and a grandson, Nicholas Aaron Jr.
Alexis Cheyenne Taylor was born Dec. 30, 1996, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, to John Hall and Stephanie Hall. She graduated in 2015 from Midland High School with high honors, having a 3.7 GPA. She had worked for the Anamosa Sheriff's Department, Wal-Mart, and most recently, Caring Corner Daycare in Marion. She had a true passion for working with children. She was an artist and loved photography, at which she was so talented.
She enjoyed music, pottery and her computer. Her greatest enjoyment came when spending time with her niece, Dayanah, and cousin, Shayla.
Jade Nikkole Taylor was born Dec. 29, 2003, in Cedar Rapids to John Hall and Stephanie Hall. She was in the sixth grade at Midland School. She enjoyed playing softball, basketball and going swimming. She loved to catch frogs and climb the big tree in her grand-parents' backyard. Also, she spent her time listening to music and drawing.
Those left to cherish their memories are their parents; a brother, Dominic Taylor of Cedar Rapids; grandpa, Tot Taylor of Oxford Junction; uncle, Nic (Jennifer) Taylor of Atkins; niece, Dayana; and cousin, Shayla.
They were preceded in death by their great-grandparents; a cousin, Nicholas Aaron Jr.; and an uncle, Scott.
They truly will be missed by many and their memories will never be forgotten.
