Karen Lea (Pritchett) Van Norden, 74, died Monday, April 11, 2016, at the Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice of Mercy House in Hiawatha surrounded by her family. Services will be at a later date.
Surviving is her daughter, Jackie Meyer and significant other, John Leeper; a sister, Kay (Richard) Jahnke; brother, Richard (Marlyn) Pritchett; and her nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Karen was born Feb. 3, 1942, in Marshalltown, Iowa. She was the daughter of Jesse and Catherine Barlow Pritchett.
