Jeff was born on April 12, 1964, at Mercy Hospital in Cedar Rapids, to Arnie and Ruth Juhl of Cedar Rapids. After graduating from Jefferson High School in 1982, Jeff earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the Des Moines University and completed his residency at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, Neb. Jeff's career took him to Marshalltown Medical Center and Great River Medical Center in Burlington, which prepared him to lead Rushmore Pain & Medicine the past several years. Jeff served proudly in the Iowa Air National Guard for the past 25 years, and retired as Major. In his youth, Jeff was a member of the Cedar Rapids BMX. He recently helped them celebrate their 40th anniversary, which he enjoyed very much. Jeff enjoyed riding his Harley and doting on his beautiful granddaughter.
Jeff is survived by his son, Zach, and his wife, Tara, along with his granddaughter, Aurora, of Phoenix, Ariz; friend, Cindy Sharpe, and her daughter, Meldi, of Burlington; parents, Arnie and Ruth; sisters, Connie (Ken) Hron of Fremont, Neb., Cathy Harper and Kimberly Suber of Cedar Rapids; brothers, Mike Juhl of Omaha, Neb., and Bill Kubite of Cedar Rapids; three nieces, three nephews, aunts, uncle, several cousins, many friends, his employees and patients at Rushmore Pain & Medicine in Burlington.
