Frances Beltz, 98, of Cedar Rapids, passed away Friday, June 9, 2017, at Manor Care, Cedar Rapids. Funeral services: 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 13, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids. Visitation will be one hour before the service. Burial: Linwood Cemetery, Cedar Rapids.
Frances was born Jan. 5, 1919, in Iowa, the daughter of Charles and Hattie (Steiner) Cejka. She married Clarence Beltz in Cedar Rapids on Aug. 23, 1939. Clarence passed away in 2005. Frances was an underwriter and retired from United Fire & Casualty. She enjoyed bowling and playing bingo.
Frances is survived by her grandsons, Steven Haugse of Newport, Minn., Mark Anstrom of Mulhouse, France, and David Anstrom of Ames; and sons-in-law, Don Haugse and John Anstrom, both of Hiawatha.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Clarence; two daughters, Arlene Haugse and Janet Anstrom; and siblings, Mildred Posekany and Charles Cejka Jr.
The family would like to extend a special thank-you to the staff at Manor Care for their loving care given to Frances.
