Overhulser, Terry Dean
Terry Dean Overhulser, 55, of 342 26th St. NW, Cedar Rapids, died Sunday July 25, 2010, at St. Lukes Hospital of an apparent heart attack. Services at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories. The Rev. Bob Voels will officiate. Burial at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call at the Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday.
Survivors include his wife, Mary; a daughter, April and her fiance, Jaeson; a son, T.J.; and a sister, Laura Overhulser, all of Cedar Rapids; and one brother, Tim (Shari) of Haywarden.
He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Wayne.
Terry was born on Sept. 19, 1954, in Cedar Rapids, the son of Wayne and Mary Ann McQuillin Overhulser. He married Mary L. Schoner on Nov. 14, 1987, in Cedar Rapids. Terry was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. He enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid Yankee, Vikings and Hawkeye fan.
Terry met every challenge in life with courage and a smile on his face. He lived every minute with one mission in life, to make everyone happy. Terry was a wonderful husband, father, brother, friend and it was an honor and joy to have known and loved him.
A memorial fund has been established in Terry's name.
