A 22-year-old woman was arrested for prostitution after authorities say she placed a sexual advertisement online and met with an undercover police officer at a Coralville motel at 2:15 p.m. on Wednesday afternoon.
Records indicate that Chantell M. Millien, of Lincoln, Nebraska, placed an advertisement online offering to perform sexual acts. Authorities contacted Millien and she agreed to meet at a Coralville motel.
Upon contact with an undercover police officer, Millien allegedly offered to perform a sex act for money. She was then arrested for prostitution.
Millien was being held at the Johnson County Jail waiting to see a judge on Thursday morning.
Prostitution is an aggravated misdemeanor punishable by up to two years in prison and a maximum $6,250 fine.
