Ava Marie Wiese, 89, of Coralville, died Saturday, May 21, 2016, at Windmill Manor.
There will be no service or visitation.
Survivors include a son, John (Sharon) Wiese, two grandchildren, Clint (Sara) Wiese and Christine (Jason) Whitlock, and five great-grandchildren, all of Marion.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her two sisters, Abigail Horner and Barbara Digges.
Born Ava Marie Nielson on June 6, 1926, in Springville, Iowa, she was a daughter of Roy E. Nielson and Ellen (Burkhalter) Nielson. Ava graduated from high school in Lone Tree in 1944. She married Donald O. Wiese in 1944; they divorced in 1963.
