Diamond Jae Hunter, 8, and Donald Joseph Hunter, 7, of Monticello, passed away Sunday, Dec. 18, 2016. Visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, March 25, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Marion, with a Celebration of Life beginning at 3 p.m. at the funeral home.
They are survived by their parents, Brandon and Molli (VanDyke) Hunter; sister, Hope Hunter; and lots of family and friends.
Diamond was born Jan. 28, 2008, at Mercy
Medical Cemter in Cedar Rapids. She was a little mother hen to all she knew. Diamond wanted to be a fashion designer and an opera singer. Her store was going to be called Hope Diamond Designer.
Donny was born April 24, 2009, at Mercy Medical Center in Cedar Rapids. He was a Cub Scout member of Wolf Den 10 Pack 66. Donny enjoyed super heroes and playing football. He wanted to be an astronaut and James Bond.
Diamond and Donny were inseparable and enjoyed many of the same things, including anything outdoors, especially swimming, and visiting the Monticello library. They both attended Monticello Carpenter Elementary School.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
