Family members of missing girls say they're done talking to authorities

The aunt of the two missing girls in Evansdale says family members have grown frustrated and weary of accusations by police.

Tammy Brousseau, aunt of both Lyric Cook and Elizabeth Collins, said the family went to a Waterloo motel last night to get some rest. Brousseau says an FBI agent appeared at the hotel and began to accuse Lyric Cook's father, Dan Morrissey, of being involved with her abduction or some sort of criminal activity. Brousseau says the exchange grew heated and this morning an attorney has advised the family to protect some of its interests in the investigation. The lawyers advised that the family not agree to any further polygraph or lie detector tests offered by authorities.

The attorney has also advised Misty Morrissey and Dan Morrissey to limit press interviews. Brousseau says the family has fully cooperated in the investigation, including answering questions about the criminal records of Lyric's parents.  Brousseau insisted that their criminal backgrounds have nothing to do with the girl's disappearances, as all family members can account for their whereabouts from when the girls went missing.
