Reader could use a little good news today

Thank you for the printing of the Declaration of Independence on p. 6A of the July 4 Gazette, along with 'Celebrate America's generosity” and the Youth Advocate article on 7A. It is important for some good news like this to be printed to help counter all the negative news we read every day.
If everyone made themselves a committee of one to reach out to their neighbors and live in a positive way, it could help to emphasize that we can each make a difference in our world. God cares about everyone and has made the way for us to have peace with Him, which is the only true answer to the turmoil all around us.
