Volleyball score was inaccurately reported

In the Oct. 31 Sideline section of The Gazette sports page it was reported: 'Edgewood-Colesburg claimed its spot in the Class 1A state tournament by beating Tripoli, 3-1.”
This was not the case.
I have read The Gazette throughly since, and did not see any correction of the error. In the Nov. 8 sports section, The Gazette correctly noted that Tripoli defeated Starmont in Class 1A state volleyball quarterfinals at the U.S. Cellular Center.
I'm not a huge fan of President Donald Trump, but perhaps fake news does exist.
As proud Ed-Co alumnus, I say great season Vikings.
