The new president and CEO of Ruffalo Noel Levitz says the company is focused on enhancing the ability of the colleges, universities and nonprofit organizations it serves to fulfill their mission.
'If you walk the halls and talk about what we do, you will hear about role that higher education plays as an enabler for students to advance in our society individually as well as the collective good around research and development of innovations that help society,” said Steve Meyer, who joined the Cedar Rapids company earlier this year.
'If you look at the initiatives, discussions and focus of what's going on here, Job One is to make sure we're delivering on the promise to the 1,800 schools and institutions that we're working with.”
Ruffalo Noel Levitz, formerly Ruffalo CODY, acquired Noel Levitz of Coralville and Iowa City in August 2014. Meyer said the two companies offered complementary services.
'Ruffalo CODY traditionally was a leader in fundraising management and had developed a significant presence in enrollment management. Noel Levitz was a respected leader ih enrollment management - identification of students, admission strategies, helping students find the right university, use of analytics to make the right decisions on financial aid, and engagement to make sure students have the best possible chance of succeeding.”
Meyer said the company, which has offices at both ends of the Corridor, has no plans to consolidate employment at either location. He noted that the 800 employees of Ruffalo Noel Levitz are spread across multiple locations in the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom.
Ruffalo Noel Levitz on Thursday celebrated its 92,000-square-foot corporate headquarters at 1025 Kirkwood Parkway SW, which recently was recognized by Alliant Energy for its energy efficiencies.
Meyer said the building was designed to foster a creative environment for employees to engage and thrive as well as provide physical room for future growth.
