Carl F. Dallmeyer, 94, of Washington, Iowa, died Saturday, Dec. 22, 2018, at the University of Iowa Hospitals after injuries resulting from a fall.
Celebration of Life services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 27, at the United Methodist Church in Washington. Family will be present to receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Jones & Eden Funeral Home. Interment will take place at the Elm Grove Cemetery in Washington. In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established for the United Methodist Church, Washington County Fair Association or the Washington Betterment Foundation. Carl is survived by his wife, Helen Dallmeyer of Washington, Iowa; son, Kent (Jane) Dallmeyer of Washington, Iowa; daughter, Dae (Russ) Underwood of Johnston, Iowa; three grandchildren, Kurt (Jan) Dallmeyer of Wellman, Iowa, Karin Wellington of Boone, Iowa, and Brian (Liz) Underwood of Orlando, Fla.; and seven great-grandchildren.
