Iowa City schools ask public to complete survey

IOWA CITY – The Iowa City school district is offering another opportunity for the public to provide feedback for the district's operational audit.
A survey asking how the district performs in a variety of areas can be taken through Oct. 24. Submissions are anonymous.
The survey is part of an ongoing outside audit the district ordered after it was fined by the federal government for a late payroll tax payment and discovered $2 million in bookkeeping errors.
As part of the audit process, a public meeting was held earlier this week, and the district said staff members have been interviewed.
