There was more than one streak snapped on the opening night of high school football.
Cedar Valley Christian, an 8-player team in southeast Cedar Rapids, won its first game in program history last night at Farmington Harmony, 30-20.
The is the third season of IHSAA-sanctioned football for the Huskies, who were 0-9 in both of their first two seasons.
CVC is home Friday, hosting Clarksville at LaSalle.
WEST BRANCH 42, LISBON 0 — Sophomore running back Luke Lenoch rushed for 190 yards and two touchdowns and quarterback Lucas Lamont completed 8 of 9 passes for 143 yards and three touchdowns as West Branch rolled at Lisbon.
The Bears scored on their opening drive, 5-play, 64-yard drive, with Lamont finding Devin Kindon from 10 yards out. Kindon finished with five receptions for 96 yards and added 43 rushing yards, including a 29-yard TD run.
Lenoch had touchdown runs of 6 and 4 yards.
'I thought we played well in all phases of the game,' West Branch Coach Butch Pedersen said. 'Nice to see a lot of kids get a chance.'

WEST DELAWARE 40, WESTERN DUBUQUE 14 — Coy Roussell and Brent Lammers did the damage for the Hawks in Manchester.
Roussell rushed for 165 yards on 26 carries, scoring on runs of 10, 27 and 1 yards.
Lammers added 105 rushing yards on 15 carries, scoring on runs of 1 and 61, and also completed 10 of 18 passes for 182 yards and a 10-yard touchdown pass to Dallyn Putz.

NORTH CEDAR 32, ANAMOSA 29 (OT) — Ian Malaby scored on a 10-yard pass from Jayden Johnson in overtime to lift the Knights to a come-from-behind victory.
Down 26-7 at halftime, North Cedar stormed back to send the game into overtime.
Gavin Timp gave the Raiders a 29-26 lead with a 25-yard field goal, but it wasn't enough.
Johnson completed 19 of 41 passes for 219 yards and four touchdowns.
Daniel Husman led Anamosa's attack with 75 yards on 10 rushes.

CENTER POINT-URBANA 10, CLEAR CREEK AMANA 7 (2OT) — Clayton Kramer's 21-yard field goal in the second overtime lifted the Stormin' Pointers to the win at home.
Alec Burke's interception on the Clippers' OT possession sealed the win.
DYERSVILLE BECKMAN 42, MONTICELLO 0 — The Blazers forced seven turnovers, turning those into 28 second-quarter points, in a rout in Dyersville.
Junior Tyler Hirsch rushed for 182 yards and two touchdowns on 14 carries.

CLAYTON RIDGE 15, EDGEWOOD-COLESBURG 14 — Drew Burgin sacked the Vikings quarterback in the end zone to pick up the game-winning safety at Guttenberg.
Colten Rastetter had a six-yard touchdown run and Jared Gerner had a 93-yard touchdown run for the Eagles in the first quarter.
Nick Oldfather caught a 23-yard touchdown pass from Clayton Braden and Josh Heims scored a four-yard touchdown run for Ed-Co.
NORTH FAYETTE VALLEY 14, DECORAH 0 — Trevor Hurd rushed for one touchdown and passed for another as the TigerHawks rolled in West Union.
Hurd rushed for a nine-yard touchdown and connected with on a 25-yard pass to Jared Bouska.
Josh Mackey rushed for 140 yards for North Fayette Valley.
The Vikings were limited to 116 yards.

SPRINGVILLE 66, MESKWAKI 40 — Jacob Loehr passed for 86 yards and two touchdowns and scored another with his legs as the Orioles.
Tyler McDowell rushed for 116 yards and four touchdowns and Cody Blake added 77 yards and a score. Cavanaugh Riley also scored for Springville.
WAPSIE VALLEY 28, STARMONT 12 — Caleb Knipp rushed for 168 yards and two touchdowns as Wapsie Valley rolled in Fairbank.
Jacob Butler had 149 yards and two TDs for the Stars.
EAST BUCHANAN 35, NORTH TAMA 13 — Jacob Schmidt rushed 16 times for 168 yards and a touchdown as the Buccaneers won at Winthrop.
SUMNER-FREDRICKSBURG 31, OELWEIN 14 — Derek Kohlmeyer scored two touchdowns for the Cougars.
