Snakenberg, Marie (Mrs. James)
Marie (Mrs. James) Snakenberg, 84, died April 15, 2011, at the Keokuk County Health Center, Sigourney. Funeral Mass: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary Catholic Church, Sigourney. Burial: Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Visitation: 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Holm Funeral Home, Sigourney, with a prayer service at 5 p.m.
Surviving are four sons, Ron Snakenberg of Harper, Gary (Marie) Snakenberg, Don (Nancy) Snakenberg, Pat (Cindy) Snakenberg of Sigourney; two daughters, Mary Sue Votroubek and Kathy (Ed) Wheeldon of Sigourney; 15 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two brothers, Richard and Alvin Weber of Sigourney; and four sisters, Lorena Bair of Keswick, Geraldine Cavin of Sigourney, Carol Weber and Connie Strabala of Cedar Rapids.
