Bernice Allar, 96, of Sigourney, died Sunday, April 5, 2015, at the Keokuk County Health Center in Sigourney. Funeral service: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 8, at Powell Funeral Home in Sigourney with the Rev. Rich Pippert officiating. Burial at Sixteen Cemetery, near Thornburg. Visitation from 4 until 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 7, at the funeral home.
Survivors include two daughters, Kathryn (David) Keller of Humeston and Deborah (David) Clarahan of Sigourney.
A memorial fund has been established for the Keokuk County Health Center or Sigourney United Methodist Church.
Powell Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Sigourney is caring for Bernice and her family.
