Chad A. Dempster, 45, of Cedar Falls, died Thursday, Aug. 11, 2016, at his home.
He was born May 4, 1971, in Cedar Rapids, the son of Derrell Dempster and Simone Rodenkirk Bean. He married Darcy Juhl on May 18, 1996, in Cedar Falls. Chad graduated from UNI and was employed as an art director.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Colby Dempster of Cedar Falls; two daughters, Mekenna and Madi Dempster, both of Cedar Falls; his father, Derrell (Barb) of Ely; his mother, Simone Bean of Marion; and three sisters, Kris (Dan) McNutt of Ankeny, Rebecka (Brad) Holub of Swisher and Marie Bean of Marion.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Todd Dempster; an infant sister; and his stepmother, Linda Dempster.
A family-directed memorial service will be at 6 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 18, at Cedar Heights Baptist Church, Cedar Falls, with visitation preceding services from 4 to 6 p.m.
Memorials may be directed to the family.
