Jolene Marie Hinton Powell, 61, of Livingston, Texas, formerly of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, passed away Monday, Jan. 4, 2021. Jolene was born July 17, 1959, in Cedar Rapids, to parents, Janice Marie Jacoby Snyder and Byron Eugene Hinton.
Services: 10 a.m. Saturday Jan. 9, at Cochran Funeral Home Chapel, Livingston, Texas. Burial: Forest Hill Cemetery, Livingston. Visitation: 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 8, at Cochran Funeral Home, Livingston.
She is survived by husband, Gavin Powell; children, Kevin (Lyndsey) Grendler, Wesley Grendler and Austin (Natalie) Grendler; stepchildren Lane, Kara and Genna (Adam); brother, Roger Hinton; stepbrother, Mike (Ruby) Koshatka; sisters, Suzanne Koopman and Renee Parrott; stepsister, Janelle ( Doug) Koshatka; four grandchildren, April, Jared, Kileah and Piper; many nieces and nephews, cousins aunts and uncles; and stepgrandmother, Joan.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Janice Marie Jacoby Snyder; stepfather, Allen R. Snyder; and father, Byron Eugene Hinton.
