ROBERT J. "BOB" HALVORSEN

Robert J. Bob" Halvorsen, 68, of Coralville, passed away early Monday morning, Aug. 15, 2016, at home with his family at his side. Bob's family will greet friends from 3 to 6:30 p.m. Friday at Lensing's Oak Hill, 210 Holiday Rd., Coralville. A time of sharing will begin at 6:30 p.m.
Instead of flowers and plants, memorials may be directed to the Robert Halvorsen Memorial Fund.
Bob is survived by his son, Brian (Kim) Halvorsen of Tiffin; his father, Bill Halvorsen of Coralville; a brother, John (Cindy) Halvorsen of Macedonia, S.C.; sisters, Barb (Mike) Roberts of Tiffin, Judy (Bob) Coates of Maumelle, Ark., Joan Barr of Coralville and Polly Riggan of Tiffin; nieces and nephews, John and Cheryl Halvorsen of Macedonia, Sonja and Steve Saturday of St. Stephens, S.C., Chad Halvorsen of Macedonia, Stephanie (Jeremy) Spoas of Raleigh, N.C., Amy Coates and Anna Coates, both of Maumelle, Linzee Barr (Tonya Stratton) and Ashlee (Ryan) Stigers, all of Homestead, Chelsey Riggan (Craig Kuepker) of North Liberty, and Emily (Clint) Fults and Jamie Halvorsen (Dion Young), all of Tiffin; great-nieces and nephews, Hannah, Kelsey (Lance), Johnny, Alyssa, Drew, Breanna, Steven, Brittany, Joey, Katie, Jordan, Kirsten and Noah.
Bob was preceded in death by his mother, JoAnne; and a sister, Jeanette Halvorsen.
