Nancy Louise McShane, 65, of Central City, passed away Monday, Sept. 11, 2017, at her home surrounded by her family. The family will greet friends from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 16, at Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Central City. Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Springville Cemetery.
Nancy is survived by her children, David (Carmen) McShane of Bondurant, Jody McShane of Sulphur, Ky., Wade (Tara) McShane of Earlville, Megan (Jeff) Bonert of Colesburg and Dusty (Stacy) McShane of Center Point; and grandchildren, Michelle and Josie McShane, Sean Fett and Cassidy McShane, Lance and Breanna McShane, Logan, Claire and Hunter McShane and Mason and Natalie Bonert.
She was preceded in death by her husband, David McShane; and her parents, Bill and Bea Dean.
Nancy was born Oct. 22, 1951, in Trenton, Mo., the daughter of William and Olive (Nigh) Dean. On Aug. 1, 1965, she was united in marriage to David McShane in Viola. Nancy was employed at Michaels and owned her own antique shop, Timeless Treasures.
