Kelley, Vernon Lloyd
Vernon Lloyd Kelley, 93, of Edgewood, died Monday, Aug. 27, 2012, at the Edgewood Convalescent Home. Funeral Services: 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 30, at Leonard-Muller Funeral Home in Manchester with Mike Jackson officiating.
Visitation: 2 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home in Manchester and one hour before services Thursday. Interment with Military Honors: Oakland Cemetery, Manchester, Iowa.
Survivors include his wife, Verna of Edgewood; his children, Bill (Ruth) Johnston of Carson City, Nev., Edgar (Linda) Kelley of Mission, Texas, Linda (John) Millard of Floral City, Fla., Joyce (Steve) Everett of Edgewood, Stephen (Lois) Kelley of Manchester, and Shirley (Mark) Possehl of Grundy Center; 23 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and a brother, Floyd Kelley of Manchester.
Vernon was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Esther Winistorfer, Grace Brady and Doris Winistorfer; brothers, Harold Kelley and Delbert Kelley; and grandchildren, Chad Kelley, Jeff Kelley and Lance Millard.
Leonard-Muller Funeral Home in Edgewood is in charge of arrangements.
