Joyce E. Mailey, 95, of Marion, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 26, 2018, at Linn Manor Care, Marion. Private graveside services will be held at a later date at St. Bridget's Cemetery, Bluffton, Iowa.
Joyce was born April 9, 1923, in rural Winneshiek County, the daughter of John and Edith (Hiller) Schnitzler. She was employed at Bishop's for many years.
She is survived by her children,
Gretchen (Ron) DeVilder, Susan (Alan) Ellickson, Luella (John) Wise, Donna Koranda, Gerald (Julie) Mailey, Donald (Charla) Mailey and Dawn Goldsmith; former son-in-law, Lance Goldsmith; brothers, Charles (Fran) Schnitzler and Donnie (Carol) Schnitzler; sisters, Edna Schrandt and Dorothy (Ronald) Barth; 21 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Joyce was preceded in death by her parents; two grandsons; and four siblings.
