Morey, James M.
James M. Morey, 74, of 820 27th St., Apt. 1D, Marion, passed away peacefully Sunday, Dec. 16, 2012.
Survivors include his wife, Susan, the love of his life for 47 years; his daughter, Sherry (Dan) Sweeney of Cedar Rapids; son, Lance; son, Clay Morey of San Francisco, Calif.; two grandchildren, John (Jennalee) Sweeney and Michael (Becky) Johnston of North Carolina; and two great-grandchildren, Justin and Caroline.
He was employed by Wagner Printing Co. for 30 years before retiring. He achieved a master's degree in printing. He was born to Eugene and Hazel Morey on April 10, 1938 in New Hampton, Iowa.
James was an avid sports fan of the Iowa Hawkeyes and NASCAR.
He will be remembered most for his kindness.
The family will have a celebration of his life at a later date. He will be cremated. Arrangements were made by Stewart Baxter Funeral Home.
Condolences may be sent to the home of his wife.
