Marvin Scher, 77, of Coralville, died Thursday, Jan. 7, 2010, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City. No services are planned at this time.

Marvin is survived by his wife, Valerie; his four children, Bruce Scher of Tucson, Ariz., and his children, Yvan and Roman; David (Marcia) Scher of Hudson, Mass., Jonathan (Carla) Scher of Lafayette, La., and their grandson, Logan; and Elizabeth Baumann of Elgin, Ill., and her children, Jessica and Alexander.
