Steve R. Ladman Sr., 67,
of Cedar Rapids, died Friday, Jan. 8, 2021. Services: Private. Cedar Memorial Park

Steve was born April 10, 1953, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the son of Floyd and Bettie (Pickerill) Ladman. He graduated from Springville High School in 1972. Steve was in car sales with Lincoln Way and Vernon Heights. He enjoyed time at the racetrack, having drinks with family and friends at Nancy's Country Inn and Cooter's in Cedar Rapids. Steve had a heart of gold-helping anyone in need with food, a little cash and giving a person a place to stay when in need. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Survivors include his son, Steve R. Ladman Jr. of Texas; and his siblings, Sandra "Sam" Steggall of Cedar Rapids, Sue (Allen) Lucas of Cedar Rapids, Tami (Stan) Bull of Omaha, Neb., Jennifer (Gary) Parker of California, Cindy (John) Brookshire of Des Moines and Rodney (Kiera) Ladman of New Hampshire. He was preceded in death by his parents.
