Kathryn Lynn Krebs of Spartanburg, S.C., passed away on Jan. 21, 2021, at the age of 58, from cancer.
She is survived by her parents, Arthur and Mary Ellen Krebs; her siblings, Dan Krebs, Sherry Koch and Sally Krebs; her two children, Calvin Crase and Erica DeSousa; her grandchild, Rory Crase; and several nieces and nephews.
A talented artist and writer, Kathy enjoyed painting, writing, reading and gardening. She was inspired by the details of aesthetic and capturing the beauty life has to offer. Eager to share these passions with others, Kathy cherished late night conversations about architecture, design, literature and history, backlit with fire in a cozy space and a cup of coffee or tea at her side. She was immensely proud of her children and the people they have become.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in her name to the Spartanburg Regional Hospital Hospice Home, which provided Kathy and her family immeasurable kindness and support.
