Anderson, Clyde K.
Clyde K. Anderson, 69, of Cedar Rapids, died Friday, July 13, 2012, at Mercy Medical Center. Memorial Services: 1 p.m. Thursday at First Church of the Open Bible by Pastor Dan Stanford. Family will greet friends after noon Thursday at the church. Cedar Memorial Westside Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Lou Anderson; his children, Chuck (Nina) Anderson and Scott (Robin) Anderson, both of Gilbert, Ariz., and John Bean, James Gatewood and Christina Horn, all of Cedar Rapids; a sister, Glenna Mushman of Belle Plaine; sisters-in-law, Faye Anderson of Florida and Margaret Hennessey; and a brother-in-law, Clifford (Marie) Williams. Also surviving are 10 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Robert Anderson.
Clyde was born Dec. 2, 1942, in Belle Plaine, Iowa, the son of Robert and Kathryn Kent Anderson. He married Mary Lou Williams on Dec. 27, 1987, in Phoenix, Ariz. Clyde was a data processor and a collector of guns. He served in the Army during the Vietnam War.
He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Memorials may be directed to the family in lieu of flowers.
