Williams, Robert A.
Robert A. Williams of Highland Ranch, Colo., died Aug. 31, 2009, in his home after a long illness. A private cremation was held in Colorado.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Mona; sons, Joel, Scott and John; daughter, Kalli; seven grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; sisters, JoAnne Grissel of Fort Worth, Texas, Shirley Henyan of Edina, Minn., and Barbara Rosenberg, and brother, Dick Williams, both of Cedar Rapids.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Bernice Williams; and a son, Andy.
Bob graduated in 1951 from Franklin High School in Cedar Rapids and attended the University of Iowa. He worked for Martin-Marrieta in Colorado for many years.
