Kristi S. McNully, 59, of Cedar Rapids, died on Monday, Jan. 25, 2021, at St. Luke's Hospital. A livestream of the funeral service may be accessed on the funeral home website under the obituary for Kristi McNully, under the video tab starting at 11 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 1,. Burial at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. There will be a visitation on Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Cedar Memorial Westside Chapel.
As mandated by proclamation, social distancing must be practiced, which requires a limited number of people to be allowed into the visitation at one time. The use of face masks or shields are required.
Survivors include a daughter, Lauren Brunson of Cedar Rapids; her mother, Renee Bucklin of Cedar Rapids; and a brother, Gary (Kerry) Bucklin of Phoenix, Ariz. She is also survived by several cousins and her dog, Izzie.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Kristi was born on Nov. 16, 1961, in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of Michael and Renee (Wagner) Bucklin and graduated from Moon Valley High School in Phoenix.
Kristi was a CNA and an administrative assistant in the medical field for many years.
She was a member of the, ASPCA and had a great love of all animals. Kristi enjoyed travel and was a very talented musician; playing the drums and several other musical instruments.
Kristi will forever be remembered as a loving and caring mother, daughter, sister and friend whose memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved her.
