Jones, Lorraine
Lorraine Jones, 89, of Kalona, formerly of Wellman, died Sunday, March 13, 2011, at Pleasantview Home in Kalona.
She worked at the University of Iowa in housekeeping for 18 years, retiring in 1983.
She is survived by a daughter, Sherri (Terry) Bringman of Kinross; two grandsons, Nicholas Bringman and Christopher Bringman; a great-granddaughter, Jenna; and a brother, LaMoyne Hillyer of Tipton.
Graveside services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 16, at the Oakdale Cemetery in Wilton. There will be no visitation. The Yoder-Powell Funeral Home in Kalona is in charge of the arrangements.
