Wilbricht, Gerald F.
Gerald F. Wilbricht, 69, of Monticello, died Monday, March 18, 2013, in San Antonio, Texas, surrounded by his family. He died from complications following surgery. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 23, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Monticello, with burial at the Sacred Heart Cemetery.
Gerald Francis was born Aug. 22, 1943, in Dubuque, Iowa, the son of Lester E. and Gertrude (Weitz) Wilbricht. He married Marilyn Schmit on Oct. 3, 1964, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Dubuque.
Survivors include son, Christopher (Kristen McCaustland) Wilbricht of Belleville, Wis.; daughter, Lisa (Douglas) Wink of Urbandale; son, Patrick (Kelly Hite) Wilbricht of San Antonio, Texas; and six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Marilyn.
In lieu of flowers and gifts, a memorial has been established in Gerald's memory.
